Hydrotherapy - Aquatic Physiotherapy Our hydrotherapy group classes are an excellent class as a stepping stone for returning to weight bearing activities in a heated pool environment. Clinical Exercise Classes (Pilates) Our Core Strengthening/clinical pilates class focuses on posture, balance, control, and flexibility and is excellent rehabilitation for back, neck, shoulder and hip injuries. Pre Employment Medicals/Functionals Pre-employment or company medicals are now an integral component of any injury prevention solution, designed to identify possible risk factors due to pre-existing ailments, which in turn can help to minimize workplace incidents and injuries. Pulmonary Rehabilitation These classes provide you with a safe, evidence-based exercise and education program to help manage your condition . Run in a health setting by exercise professionals, the program provides an individual assessment of your exercise capacity and medical history, followed by a tailored training and education program. The program typically runs for 6-8 weeks. Lungs in Action This class is only available to those that have completed the full Pulmonary Rehab course. It builds on the exercises and education given in pulmonary rehab with an aim to increase intensity of exercise and participant self-management. Weights for Wellness Low impact group exercise classes that combine aerobic, resistance and balance/falls prevention exercises. Neurological Rehabilitation Neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Multiple sclerosis, Cerebral palsy, and Stroke are all conditions which we assist in this class. Neuro Rehab is a prescribed exercise clinical class that assists your balance, coordination, strength, and cardiovascular needs. Guided by our Exercise Physiologist we monitor and adapt movements where necessary for your current physical activity levels and help build your confidence with movement patterns with exercise.
