Genevieve graduated as an Occupational Therapist (class 1, honours) in 2015 from the University of Newcastle. Over the past eight years she has gained extensive experience working in a variety of clinics, predominantly specialising in paediatric services. She is trained to deliver a range of OT services including DIR/Floortime, Sensory Integration, Therapeutic Listening, Quickshifts, Alert Program for Self-Regulation, Social Thinking Program, Astronaut Program, Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), Rhythmic Movement Therapy (RMTi), EFT Tapping, Wilbarger Brushing Protocol, Play Therapy and Occupational Performance Coaching.
Genevieve provides professional and clinical supervision and mentoring to individuals and groups. She has presented on a range of occupational based topics including sensory processing, fussy eating and sleep. Genevieve has also been involved in a range of programs including special needs nippers, special needs Yoga, disability learn to surf programs and she has been an OT camp leader at Camp Jabiru for the past five years. Genevieve is a qualified children’s yoga teacher.
Outside of work Genevieve enjoys staying active and enjoying the great outdoors. She particularly enjoys surfing, yoga, rock climbing, and recently began competing in triathlons.
